Our Anicura Cat Spray was made to provide instant relief and long-term benefits for cats prone to itchy, dry and flaky skin, eczema, feline dermatitis and skin allergies.
This easy-to-use Spray contains 15 natural oils and extracts and works in two ways. Firstly, it instantly breaks the itch/scratch cycle by providing immediate hydration and cooling ingredients such as Peppermint and Eucalyptus. Secondly, the wealth of nutrients in the Spray provides the skin with everything it needs to find its healthy balance again, resulting in stronger, healthier and more resilient skin over time.
Designed to instantly break the itch/scratch cycle
Fine liquid sinks in quickly and provides deep hydration
Full of vitamins and minerals to strengthen the skin over time
Non-greasy and easy to apply on longer for or larger areas
We recommend applying the Spray 3-4 times a day at first (although it will not do any harm if you feel you need to apply more frequently than this). When you start to see an improvement, you can reduce the frequency to 1-2 times a day. When the skin has returned to relative normalcy, you can continue using the Spray a few times a week to keep the skin topped up with moisture and nutrients.
For best results, use together with our Cat Gel.
If your pet is short-haired, just spraying the product on may be enough. You can however use your hands to help massage the product into the skin. If your pet has long or thick fur, we would recommend one of three options. 1) You could spread out the fur a bit, spray as close to the skin as possible and work the product into the skin with your hands. 2) You could also spray the product onto your fingertips and run your hands through the coat along the affected area. 3) You could spray the product onto a brush and work it into the coat that way. Option 2 and 3 are also perfect if your pet is easily started by the spray noise. When using the Spray on the face and around the eyes, we would recommend applying via a cotton pad or your fingertips to allow for a more controlled application. In these cases, you could also use the Gel.
My cat has very long or thick fur - how do I apply the Spray?
You should aim to get the Spray as close to the skin as possible. You can do this by spreading out the fur, spraying the product on and then working it further into the coat and onto the skin with your hands. You could also apply the Spray to your fingertips and run them through your cat’s fur. Finally, you could apply the Spray to a brush and work it into your cat’s coat by brushing.
Is it safe if my cat licks the Spray?
Yes, our Spray is safe when accidentally ingested. However, we do recommend giving the Spray as much time as possible to be absorbed by the skin and start working its magic. For that reason, if your cat has the tendency to lick the area after applying the Spray, we recommend distracting them for a few minutes with cuddles, food or toys.
How long will it take before I see results?
This is really difficult to say, as every skin is different. Some of our customers will see results after one or just a few applications, for some it may take a couple of weeks. The most important thing is applying frequently and sticking with it. The skin fully renews itself every 28 days, so one would expect a change within this timeframe.
What is the difference between the Spray and the Gel?
The Spray is great at stopping the itch/scratch cycle quickly and is easy to use on larger areas or longer fur. It has 15 natural oils and extracts that hydrate and feed the skin a plethora of vitamins and minerals. This increases the skin's strength over time and helps prevent flare ups and skin irritations.
The Gel is designed to soothe sore and inflamed skin. It can be used on broken skin to aid wound healing and is perfect to use on the face and paws, as well as targeted areas on the rest of the body. The cooling gel texture calms irritated skin quickly whilst the omega-rich formula helps nourish the area back to health.
They work very well together, as the Spray sinks quickly into the skin, and once absorbed, the Gel sits nicely on top to protect the skin and promote healing.
This was my Girl Lucy these picture were taking a week apart I can get over the difference (excuse the colour of her fur it’s blood that I don’t want to clean until she is fully healed)I can’t explain how happy I am with how much better she looks and most importantly how she feels she is so much more happier
I’d been to the vets and spent a lot of money for them to tell me it was food allergies so I changed her food and nothing changed
I told the vet she is allergic to flea salivar which he said she wasn’t even though she has had this once before 6yrs ago
I will definitely be recommending this to anyone who’s pet has a skin problem
Many many thanks Lucy 🥰🐈
This wonderful product always helps our much-loved boy, who is allergic to flea bites and despite regular flea treatments he always manages to pick up a few. The spray really soothes his skin and restores it to lovely, itch-free skin within a week or two. It helped him to get his hair back too, when it got thin due to the flea bites causing itching and him scratching and grooming incessantly. It’s a brilliant product and I highly recommend it!
This product works very well and has helped my cats recovery from a nasty scratch. My only problem is not with the product but with my cat he was so scared of us putting it on that he did a runner for two days and now he only comes back for food. Even though we had to stop using the product his face is a lot better than what it was. So I would definitely recommend
we've had several months of back and forth to the vet with injections, creams and collars on our young kitten who was repeatednly opening up her neck. A combination of Anicura: first the gel and now the spray has changed everything. We also went for a better cat food in case it was a food allergy.
Really pleased
Charlie was attacked by a neighbours dog ,his hair was ripped out both sides of his stomach. Luckily the dog’s teeth didn’t penetrate his skin. Charlie wouldn’t leave his skin alone, so his hair never grew back. The photo I,ve provided shows his hair growing back after using the spray dabbed on with a cotton pad 3 times a day. Have received a second spray, and can see him back to his handsome self in no time 😻
My cat Milo had an abscess from a cat fight, after treatment from the vet, I sprayed Anicura cat spray on him 3/4 times a day and the wound was nearly healed a week later. Amazing spray, with a gentle smell and Milo didn’t really mind getting it on xx
My cat had some sores on his back legs and some scabs on his back. I had tried a couple of other creams and it hadn't helped much. After using the spray his legs seem to have healed nicely. Still using it on his back.
2 of my Ragdolls have lost a lot of their fur this year and one of them seems quite sore. I’ve been using the spray for about 10 days now and things seem to be improving. I have the gel on order and will be glad when it is back in stock as I think it will be easier. However the spray hasn’t been too bad to use and the cats aren’t minding too much.
So far, this seems like a good product.
Misty suffers with a mild dermatitis and I have found that this product is really affective in soothing and stopping the itch as well as totally clearing it up for a few months at a time and us much cheaper than keep taking her to the vet.
I didnt seem help my cat as she was scratching this threw the body suit.
It is getting better now she has a habit with the scratching. Still using it though.
I bought this for my cat who suffers terribly with summer dermatitis and rips her hair out and scratches and makes it bleed. Every year i had to take her to the vets costing over £100 for steroids and antibiotics. Flea meds never work alone. After using this product every day twice a day on a cotton pad i could see a difference it took around 3 weeks to get to the left photo from the right but it was really bad as you can see. And from now on i will be using this product every year to maintain her healthy fur. Thank you anicura love this product!

We all need a good nights sleep Heather. So pleased Anicura is helping, You could always apply the Spray onto a cotton pad then onto your Cat if he would find that better. Regards Vicky
My old cat Belle had really suffered for 12 months with really bad scabs on her back spreading into her tail which was getting sore. She was constantly biting at them and pulling out her fur. She was manic! I tried lots of recomended sprays and creams which had no effect. Then i came across anicura so thaught id give it a go after reading the comments. This spray is amazing! After 2weeks her skin has cleared up. Im always going to keep a bottle of this in from now on. I really cant praise it enough. THANK YOU.
I only applied this twice as it seemed to irritate my cat & made her groom even more. So I have stopped using it.
Her fur seems to be growing back now, since we rescued her, she has settled in. We think it was previous stress causing her to over groom.
Well I haven't managed to apply this more than twice to the cat that now lives with me having been abandoned by neighbours. He was already edgy about being in a new home and I feel this will take him back to square one if I continued. So I'm not using it at the moment. Meanwhile he is a cat with bald and scabby patches.
Thank you so much for this medicated spray. My poor fur baby has been pulling his fur out and making himself so sore it's been upsetting to see. I started using this spray a few weeks ago and it has helped him so much. He has nor stopped pulling his fur out and is so much happier now. Also no fur everywhere in the house. Thank you so much for making him feel normal again with fur and no bald patches.
I have 7 cats and 2 female cats had scabs from scratching and biting during rough play and one of my boy cats over groom until his back end is virtually bald.
I bought both the spray and the gel. Have used the spray on both girls once a day for several days, massaging it in to the skin. It has all gone, all the scabbed areas are clear of scabs and healing nicely.
This stuff is brilliant, I want to buy more spray for if/ when I need it.
I have not used the gel yet
Thankyou
My Russian blue cat has skin problems that come and go, she gets what looks like ezma and ends up with bald patches from over grooming. I will keep using the spray that I got from you, it's early days, but it's working! I will be buying more in the future.
It is a work in progress as I have a very nervous rescue cat. So choosing the right time to apply it is crucial. But we are continuing and will get there I am sure. Where I have applied it is already looking better.
My 10 year old cat did not like me spraying him or putting it on my hand and massaging it into his fur. I chose your product because he has dandruff near his tail and I can tell it annoys him, because he scratches and bites himself. I took a chance and bought him a skin allergy protection flea collar which moisturises the skin and so far he is not scratching as much and his fur is even softer. I regularly flea and worm my cat, but this collar has definitely helped.
Have tried using this spray on our cat as I’m sure it will help her. Unfortunately, she is very sensitive and won’t allow us to groom her. I think I could use it by putting it on my hands but she reacts to the strong smell. Although it’s very pleasant to me she now recognises it and wizzes off! If a neutral spray could be available I’d try it again.
